Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson comes from a musically inclined family. Her early years were shaped by classical music, boleros and the more traditional romantic, ranchero and romantic ballads. Ana is an avid fan of Tangos. Also, she loves operas, and every form of drama. Ana started learning how to play and sing at an early age together with her mom. She received more formal training in singing when she reached the age of 16 old under the famous Mexican Tenor Flavio BECARRA. In Guadalajara, she attended the School of Music of University of Guadalajara and then in Toluca in The School of Sacred Music. The beginning of her professional career was spent performing with various orchestras, chamber ensembles, and opera choirs in Guadalajara. After moving from Mexico to the United States in 2000, she performed in the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. She has performed solo Latin American music for private functions and as a member Ensemble XXI in Redlands. The passion and love she has in music, art and performing keep her engaged with a variety of local initiatives as a teacher and performer. Ana is also a previous member of the Community Chorus of Redlands, the Inland Master Chorale, and the Performance Loft. Ana is thankful for being able to share her love and love for the traditional Latin American songs with others as she hopes to instill a sense of particularly among the younger generation, to help keep this tradition alive.Viva Mexico!
