Christopher Robert Evans, born 13 June 1981, is an American actor. The actor began his career acting in TV shows including Opposite sexual sex, which aired in 2000. Evans was a household name because of his performance as The Human Torch Marvel Comics character in the 2005 film Fantastic Four, and the sequel Fantastic Four Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007). Evans also appeared in the movie versions of comics and graphic novel TMNT (2007), Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2009), Snowpiercer (2003). The film gained him more recognition due to the role he played as Steve Rogers / Captain America in several Marvel Cinematic Universe films namely Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) as well as Captain America: Civil War as well as the ensemble film The Avengers Age of Ultron (2015) Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Endgame (2019). The Marvel films helped him become one of the most highly paid Hollywood actors.
