Maggie Grace is an American actor who was born Margaret Grace Denig in 1983. Her best-known roles include Shannon Rutherford, a character on ABC's Lost series, and Kim Mills from the Taken trilogy. Her parents had divorced and she relocated with her mother in Los Angeles. She was struggling to make ends meet when she got her first acting role as Rachel's Room's lead character. The TV film Murder in Greenwich, in which she played a 15-year-old Martha Moxley earned her the nomination for the Young Artist Award. Grace was Shannon Rutherford on the Lost TV show in 2004. In 2009, she was nominated for the award of Best Supporting Actress at the Academy Awards for her role of a single mother in Crazy Heart. After that she continued to play in comedies along with dramas, such as Nanny McPhee And The Big Bang (2010) Hysteria (2011) and Won't Back Down (12). In addition, she was a Secret Service Agent in White House Down, an action thriller from 2013, she was a musician on the set of Frank (2014) as well as The lead for the lead role in The Kindergarten Teacher, a drama that was released in the year of 2018.
